May 2011 February 1, 2011 Just a quick note to thank the city of Bloomington, IL for their warm reception upon our return last weekend. Nothing says welcome back more then a sold out Castle Theater before nine p.m.. Thanks to all of those who were in attendance and we look forward to performing for you again and our apologies to those who could not get tickets. After having the same site for almost fifteen years, it's time to get with the times. It is a bit of a work in progress but we hope it will be more entertaining and easier to navigate. January 3, 2010 Thank you, thank you, thank you! To the roughly 1,300 TB fans who came out to the House Of Blues last night in Chicago. Happy New Year! PLEASE BE AWARE… THE TB’S ARE NOT PLAYING IN CHICAGO JANUARY 30! During the past twelve years while we’ve been touring nationally, we’ve seen DMB tribute bands come and go, and almost all have tried to cause confusion by eluding that the TB’s will be playing at venues that we aren’t interested in working with. We recently became aware that this is happening again. If you see any advertising for a DMB tribute, even one using our picture, promoting shows in Chicago on January 30, it’s not us. It’s unfortunate that there are venues and acts that would stoop to that level but it is what it is. The TB’s will continue to work with reputable venues and will stay true to the DMB lineup and sound.

We just wanted to stop by and say thanks to everyone for making this summer so much fun. We always have a great time playing the festival circuit every year, and this one was no exception. January 8, 2007 We just wanted to stop by and say thanks to the almost one thousand three hundred TB fans and friends who joined us for our Chicago House of Blues show this past Saturday. What is typically the hardest night of the year to get people out to a show, (being so close to NY) ended up being one of the most fun shows we've done in sometime. Our thanks to everyone at the House of Blues, our crew and of course all of you for coming out. What a great way to start the year! Trippin Billies

Ringing in the New Year with more than 2,500 revelers each year, this party is famous for good music, great people and tons of fun. The Minneapolis Hyatt Regency will once again host the party. Two big concert rooms will allow party goers to roam from room to room at their leisure or as their band preference dictates.

August 30, 2006: Don't forget This Friday we're heading east to one of our favorite rooms. This show has come within an inch of selling out just about every time so don't wait. There are only 1200 tickets: $10.00 in advance-$15.00 day of. Click on the following link to order tickets! How do you know when summer is nearing an end? It's when we announce our New Years Eve Show! We're announcing it because we've received so many emails from the Twin Cities since our last show wanting us to come back. We'll be headlining the Cities 97 FM New Years Eve Concert with Tim Mahoney this year at the Hyatt. We'll let you know when tickets are available so you can join in on the official count down with us in person; not at home watching it in New York on TV. There are only 3,000 tickets available and they are reasonably priced at $30.00 so we'll let you know via emailer when they go on sale before it sells out. What? No Trippin Billies on New Year's Eve in their hometown of Chicago? We know but not to worry. It's officially a tradition. Obviously we'll be around town before then but we just didn't want people to think we would leave them out in the cold, you know, four months from now when it's really cold. Another DMB tribute band has sprouted up to take the place of yet another obsolete one. While over the years this has happened enough for us to set our watches by, this time the group is causing more confusion then normal by calling themselves "Tripping Billies". This week two clubs in Georgia actually advertised this other band by posting our photo and links to our website. One of the clubs actually contacted us about the production for a show in Atlanta that was booked by this other band, which was not our show using our photo and everything. SO PLEASE NOTE THAT THE BAND CALLING THEMSELVES "TRIPPING BILLIES" PERFORMING IN GEORGIA THIS WEEKEND IS NOT US AND IS IN NO WAY AFFILIATED WITH US! Rest assured we're working on resolving the matter as soon as possible. When in doubt.....just check the website and feel free to email us from there with any questions regarding shows. We apologize to the countless Dave Matthews fans and the promoters who have become great friends over the years for any confusion.
